Questions were given to them
Questions they asked
Questions were mentioned in
Assigned: Displays questions assigned to the user.

Mentions: Displays questions and answers where the user is mentioned by name.
Community Rooms
Users can explore and contribute to Community Rooms, in addition to engaging in personal interactions. Rooms and Walls with existing questions from across the application can be viewed here.
Collaboration
Users can ask questions by assigning them to a specific user or team. They can also mention individuals or teams in the question using the @ symbol. This ensures that both the assignee and the mentioned users or teams receive the question.
This feature is available in the Business Glossary, Data Catalog, and Data Stories modules. Users can mention relevant users or teams in comments using the @ symbol to improve collaboration and visibility.
Accept Answer & Auto-Accept
This feature is available from Release7.2.1
Users can now validate the most relevant reply by marking it as the accepted answer. This enhancement ensures that discussions highlight trusted responses while also providing an automated fallback when no manual action is taken.

Accept Answer
The question reporter selects a reply as the accepted answer.
Accepted replies are clearly highlighted in the Question Wall and Conversation Shutter.
Withdrawn acceptance moves the question back to the Open state.
A different reply can then be accepted.
Admin override is available when required.
Auto-Accept:
Configurable at 10, 20, or 30 days by the wall assignee.
If no answer is accepted within the set duration, the latest reply is automatically accepted.
A reminder is triggered one day before auto-acceptance.
Auto-accepted replies carry a distinct label.
The cycle resets if the question is reopened or acceptance is withdrawn.
Use Case Example A Data Steward posts a question in the Business Glossary Wall regarding the definition of a newly introduced regulatory term. Multiple team members respond.
The steward reviews the replies and marks one response as the Accepted Answer, which is highlighted with a green tick.
Later, updated guidance becomes available. The steward withdraws the previously accepted answer, reopening the question, and then marks a new response as the accepted answer.
If no reply is accepted within the configured 20-day period, the system automatically accepts the latest reply. This auto-accepted answer is labeled distinctly to indicate that it was system-generated.
This workflow ensures that validated responses remain highlighted while providing a fallback mechanism to prevent unresolved questions from persisting indefinitely.
Sorting
Users can sort questions to view them in a preferred order:
Open Questions: sort by Latest Questions (default), Oldest Questions, or Latest Reply.
Answered Questions: sort by Recently Accepted (default), Earliest Questions, Latest Questions, or Latest Reply.

Business Glossary
Users can configure questions for the Business Glossary term’s Business and Detail descriptions. Questions are visible to the steward on the AI prompt. Steward can add more questions to gather answers from stakeholders, and better prompts will be provided to the AI. All questions assigned from the AI prompt will be visible to the assignee or team on the Question Wall > Curation by AI > Business Glossary section. The steward, the governance roles, or the user having at least meta-read access to the data object can answer the questions. That particular assignee/team can view the answer in the Business Description.
Data Catalog

General Wall
The General Wall contains all the migrated questions from earlier versions of OvalEdge. Users can add new questions and select the assignee or team from whom they want a response or answer.
Custom Wall
Admins can create a custom Room and Walls within that room of their choice for general discussion.
All users can ask other users or teams questions to receive responses.
Move Questions
The Move Questions functionality helps to move questions from Custom and General walls. This feature categorizes questions in the correct walls, making the questions and their answers easily accessible.
A copy link is provided for each question. This can be used as a reference for answering another question. For example, suppose a certain question has already been answered, and a new user asks the same question again. In that case, the assignee can tag the link to the previously answered question in the new question as a reference.
Archive and Restore Questions
The Archive option allows users to archive questions without permanently deleting them. Only users with the appropriate permissions and governance roles are authorized to perform this action.
To archive a question, click the three-dot menu next to the question. From the options menu, select Archive. The selected question is then archived, removed from the active list, and moved to the Archived Questions page.
Archived questions are removed from the default view and are accessible through the Archived Questions page.
The Archived Questions page displays all archived questions, regardless of the room in which they were posted. Users with the appropriate permissions and governance roles can restore individual questions using the Restore option.
To restore multiple questions at once, users can select the "Select All" checkbox and click the "Restore" icon. This action returns all selected questions to the active list.
