Data Product Marketplace
A Data Product Marketplace is a centralized platform where users can discover, understand, request, and consume governed data products. It enables self-service access with approvals, quality indicators, ownership, and usage insights—accelerating data adoption while ensuring trust, compliance, and accountability.

Data Products are consumed by data consumers such as analysts, business users, or downstream application teams who:
Browse the catalog of available Data Products
Review metadata like descriptions, schema, data quality scores, ownership, tags, and contracts
Decide whether a Data Product is suitable for their use case
Marketplace
The Marketplace landing page displays key summary metrics, including:

Total Data Products: Displays the total number of data products that are published and available in the marketplace.
Total Data Domains: Indicates the number of business or data domains under which the published data products are categorized.
Total Subscriptions: Represents the cumulative count of active subscriptions across all data products in the marketplace.
Average Rating: Aggregated average rating from consumers across all data products.
Browse Data Domains
Browse Data Domains allows Data Consumers to explore all available data domains within the Data Products module, helping them quickly locate relevant business areas or subject-specific data. Users can view domain details, associated data products, and ownership information to understand the structure and scope of each domain.

When a Data Browser clicks a Domain or selects a Subdomain from the submenu, the user is redirected to the Search Page, where all relevant Data Products are displayed as tiles/cards.

Each tile shows key details such as:
Business Description
Ratings
Status
Tags
Governance Roles
Filtering Options
Users can refine Data Products by filtering them based on Data Domain, governance ownership, availability, and delivery access type (by request, instantly available, subscribed, data preview, or data read), lifecycle status (draft or published), and discovery indicators such as tags, ratings, popularity, and metadata curation score. Additional fields further support targeted discovery based on specific business or governance requirements.

Featured Data Products
The highlighted section displays recommended or promoted Data Products to help drive user adoption. It displays up to 12 data product cards and provides three filters for easy exploration:
Popular: Displays products ranked by their Popularity Score.
Recently Added: Shows products that were added most recently.
My Subscriptions: Lists the Data Products the user has subscribed to.

Each Featured Product card displays the following details:

Description: A brief summary of what the Data Product offers and its usage (e.g., Leverage real-time data to enhance marketing strategies).
Rating: The average user-provided score reflecting the usefulness and quality of the Data Product (e.g., 4.2 stars).
Number of Subscribers: The total count of users who have subscribed to or are actively using the Data Product (e.g., 36).
Availability: The access mode indicating how users can obtain the Data Product—by request, instantly available, or already subscribed.

A View All Data Products button appears at the bottom of the section, which opens the full list of Data Products on the Explore page.
