Custom Dashboard
OvalEdge offers Custom Dashboards that provide a personalized data exploration experience. It enables users to:
Create personalized dashboards: Design dashboards tailored to their needs and workflows, ensuring efficient access to information.
Organize reports strategically: Users can arrange reports to optimize their workflow, streamlining their analytical process.
Categorize reports with labels: Leverage labels for report categorization, ensuring quick retrieval and improved organization.

Manage Reports on Custom Dashboard
Add Reports to Custom Dashboard
There are three ways to add reports to custom dashboards:
Data Catalog
Navigate to either the Reports List View or the Summary page in the Data Catalog. Locate the desired report, and using the 9 Dots menu and "Add to Dashboard" option, add the selected reports to the custom dashboard.

Custom Dashboard Page
Click the "Add Reports" button on the custom dashboard. A pop-up window will appear showcasing all available reports. Use the search filters (Connector Name, Report Group, Report Name) to find specific reports. Select the desired reports and click "OK" to add them to the dashboard.

Removing Reports from Custom Dashboards
Users can streamline their dashboard management with two methods:
Data Catalog:
In the Data Catalog > Reports, locate the report to be removed from the dashboard and click on its name. The report summary page will appear.
Click on the 9-dot menu and select the "Remove from Dashboard" option. A pop-up window will display, allowing the user to choose the dashboard from which the report must be removed.
Custom Dashboard Page: On the Custom Dashboard page, users can select the report they want to remove. Hover over the unwanted report and click on the X symbol. The selected report will then be removed from their custom dashboard.
Arranging Reports on Custom Dashboards
Custom dashboards empower users to manage their reports efficiently:
Drag and drop reports to rearrange and resize them as needed.
Automatic layout adjustments ensure optimal viewing for any report size.
Managing Labels on Custom Dashboards
Adding Labels: Click "Add Label" in the top right corner of the custom dashboard and enter a title (required) and an optional description for the label.
Arranging Labels: Once created, drag and drop labels to their desired positions on the dashboard.
Removing Labels: Hover over a label to reveal the "x" icon. Click the "x" icon to delete the label.
Editing Labels: Hover over a label and click the pencil icon. Edit the title and description in the pop-up window.
