Change Management
Change Management helps stakeholders understand what has changed from the previous version to the latest version, who is impacted, and how processes or permissions are affected. This ensures smooth adoption and reduces operational risk.
The askEdgi module is categorized as a primary impacted component within the current release framework.
askEdgi
Interaction modes in askEdgi have been simplified to reduce ambiguity and provide a continuous experience when moving between discovery and analysis. The updated design removes the need to switch between multiple analysis-focused modes while preserving clear boundaries for discovery-only interactions.
What Changed
Smart Mode and Focus Mode have been merged into a single Analysis Mode. Analysis Mode works with existing workspace data and can surface relevant assets from the Data Catalog when required, while continuing to respect pinned workspace context. Discovery Mode remains available for catalog exploration, metadata search, and reference-based responses, without performing data analysis. Mode labels and guidance have been updated to reflect the simplified two-mode structure, improving usability and interaction clarity without changing permissions or underlying execution behavior.
Affected Users: Administrators, Authors, Viewers and Business Users

The Workspace Left Panel has been redesigned to improve clarity, organization, and navigation by separating imported objects and live sources, enhancing search, standardizing actions, and removing workspace object limits.
What Changed
Previously, the My Workspace left panel used a mixed layout with limited search, inconsistent scrolling, restricted section actions, and a cap on the number of workspace objects.
In the current version, the left panel now separates Imported Objects and Live Sources, supports unified search across object types, uses section-level three-dot menus, keeps Upload and Catalog controls fixed, ensures responsive behavior, and removes limits on workspace object additions, improving usability and scalability.

Marketplace recipe import has been enhanced to support on-prem deployments without direct internet access, enabling organizations to continue leveraging marketplace content in restricted network environments.
What Changed
Previously, importing Marketplace recipes required active internet connectivity, preventing on-prem users in air-gapped or restricted networks from accessing shared recipes. In the current version, Marketplace recipes can now be imported through offline or controlled transfer mechanisms, allowing organizations to securely consume external recipe content without requiring outbound internet access.
Affected Users: Administrators, Authors, Viewers and Business Users

Recipe management in the Organisation library has been improved to allow users to remove shared recipes without deleting the original creator’s personal recipe.
What Changed
Previously, deleting a recipe from the Organisation tab permanently removed it from both the Organisation library and the creator’s My Recipes, leading to unintended content loss. In the current version, a Remove from Organisation action has been introduced, allowing recipes to be withdrawn from the Organisation library while keeping the original recipe intact under My Recipes, with permission controls enforced for creators and administrators.

RAG continuation after asset addition has been improved to automatically resume the original prompt after workspace assets are added, eliminating the need for manual re-entry.
What Changed
Previously, prompts had to be re-entered after adding assets to a workspace, causing workflow interruptions and requiring manual copy and paste. In the current version, a checkpoint-based interruption mechanism has been introduced that preserves the interaction state during asset addition. Once assets are added, the system automatically continues the original prompt without additional user action, ensuring a seamless experience and uninterrupted AI interaction flow.

AI Enrichment execution has been enhanced with prompt validation, sample preview, progress tracking, and execution insights to prevent incorrect large-scale processing and reduce compute waste.
What Changed
Previously, AI Enrichment executed prompts immediately across the full dataset, often resulting in incorrect outputs, unnecessary token usage, and long-running jobs that could not be validated early. In the current version, users can validate prompts on sample rows before execution, view preview results, track real-time progress percentages, and access hover-based execution summaries that display function details, processed rows, prompts, and accuracy metrics, improving accuracy, efficiency, and user confidence.
Affected Users: Administrators, Authors, Viewers and Business Users
