# Release7.2.5.6

This release introduces key enhancements and bug fixes across Data Catalog, Data Products, Service Desk, Data Quality, Query Sheet, Load Metadata from Files, Data & Metadata Changes, and Connectors, improving filtering accuracy, subscription reliability, permissions handling, query execution, metadata management, and configuration visibility.

**Key Highlights**

* **Data Catalog**: Fixed report filtering behavior to ensure reports are correctly displayed when filtering by Report Group or Parent Report.
* **Data Products**:
 * Resolved re-subscription failures after access revocation when “Instantly Available” mode is enabled, ensuring access is restored properly.
 * Corrected incorrect “No Access” labels for Browser role users with Meta Read permissions, ensuring accurate access visibility.
* **Service Desk**: Fixed incorrect mapping of Service Request ticket numbers with Azure DevOps features, ensuring consistent cross-system references.
* **Data Quality**: Corrected permission handling so users with read access can view failed values in Data Quality rules, not just administrators.
* **Query Sheet**:
 * Resolved query blocking issues caused by objects incorrectly treated as uncrawled in the OvalEdge database.
 * Fixed similar restriction errors for fully crawled BigQuery objects, allowing authorized queries to execute successfully.
* **Load Metadata from Files (Qlik Sense)**: Introduced LMDF-based manual column update capability, enabling manual creation and modification of report columns without requiring a new Advanced Job.
* **Data & Metadata Changes**: Added the ability to download object-level and column-level metadata changes in CSV or Excel format for easier analysis and reporting.
* **Connectors**: Restored visibility of Query Log Settings for existing connectors, ensuring configuration options are available for both new and previously configured connections.

## Data Catalog

### Fixed

**Reports Filter Display Issue Resolved**

In Data Catalog, an issue that prevented reports from appearing on the Reports page when narrowing results by a specific Report Group or Parent Report has been resolved. Applying the filter returned an empty results grid even though reports existed under the selected parent report.

The filter logic has been corrected to ensure all reports associated with the chosen Report Group or Parent Report are displayed accurately.

## Data Products

### Fixed

**Data Product Re-subscription Issue Resolved**

In Data Product, an issue where re-subscription failed after access revocation when the “Make Product Instantly Available” option was enabled has been resolved. After the initial subscription, access could be revoked, and a new subscription request would trigger a job that completed successfully. However, access was not restored, the subscription did not take effect, and the Subscribe option remained visible.

The subscription logic has been corrected to ensure that re-subscription works as expected after access revocation.

**Resolved Incorrect “No Access” Label in Summary Page**

In Data Product, an issue in which the Summary page incorrectly displayed a “No Access” label for objects viewed by the Browser role has been resolved. Accounts with the Browser role have Meta Read permission and can view objects, but the Summary page displays “No Access,” which creates confusion.

The display logic has been updated to correctly reflect access levels. The “No Access” label now appears only when there is no metadata visibility.

## Service Desk

### Fixed

**Corrected SR Ticket Mapping with Azure DevOps**

In Service Desk, an issue where the service request (SR) ticket number linked to Azure DevOps features did not match the actual Service Desk ticket number has been resolved. Incorrect SR numbers were displayed in external references, causing confusion between the external integration ticket and the corresponding Service Desk ticket. In some cases, the referenced SR number pointed to an unrelated ticket.

The integration logic has been corrected to ensure the correct Service Desk ticket number is linked and displayed consistently across external integration tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow) and Service Desk.

## Data Quality

### Fixed

**Fix for Viewing Failed Values in Data Quality Rules**

In Data Quality, an issue where users with data read access could not view failed data values in Data Quality rules has been resolved. Only admin users could see the failed values, even though read permissions were granted and no masking policies were applied to the data.

The permission handling has been corrected to allow accounts with appropriate read access to view failed values in Data Quality rules as expected.

## Query Sheet

### Fixed

**Resolved Query Blocking on Uncrawled Objects**

In the Query Sheet, an issue where previously working KPI queries on the OvalEdge database failed to execute with the error “query is restricted on uncrawled objects” has been resolved. Queries against certain tables were blocked because the objects were treated as uncrawled or restricted, even when restricted query settings were disabled.

The access validation logic has been corrected to allow execution of authorized queries on the required tables, restoring normal query operation.

**Resolved Query Restriction on Crawled BigQuery Objects**

In Query Sheet (BigQuery), an issue where query execution was blocked with an error stating that queries are restricted on uncrawled objects, even though all schemas had already been crawled, has been resolved. The system incorrectly treated fully crawled BigQuery objects as uncrawled, preventing queries from running.

The validation logic has been corrected to recognize crawled objects, allowing queries to execute successfully.

## Load Metadata from Files

### New & Improved

**Qlik Sense | LMDF-Based Approach for Manual Column Updates**

An enhancement has been introduced to support the manual creation and modification of Qlik Sense report columns using the existing LMDF template. Previously, accommodating manual column updates would have required a new Advanced Job, increasing implementation complexity.

With this approach, manual changes can now be managed by updating the LMDF template, eliminating the need for additional job development. To ensure clear differentiation between manual and automated updates, a new indicator field has been added to the report columns to indicate whether a column was created manually or generated by automated crawling.

## Data & Metadata Changes

### New & Improved

**Download Option for Data and Metadata Changes**

In Data and Metadata Changes, an issue where object-level and column-level metadata changes could be viewed but not downloaded has been resolved.

A download option has been added to export metadata changes in a tabular format (CSV/Excel), including column-level details.

## Connectors

### Fixed

**Query Log Settings Visibility Restored for Existing Connectors**

In Connectors, an issue where Query Log Settings were not visible for existing connectors has been resolved. The settings were accessible for newly created connectors, but did not appear when viewing or editing previously configured connectors.

The connector configuration logic has been updated to display Query Log Settings for both existing and newly created connectors.
