Notifications

Fixed

Data Product Notification Issue Resolved

In Notifications | Data Products, an issue where notifications were not sent when certification changes or metadata updates occurred has been resolved.

Notifications are now sent to all users with access to a data object when certification is removed from a data product. Watchlist notifications have also been added to alert all relevant users whenever metadata changes occur in watched data products.

Business Glossary

Fixed

Resolved Image Deletion Issue in the Manage Image Window

In the Term summary | Descriptions (Business/Detailed), an issue where images could not be deleted from the 'Manage Image' (Insert image > Browse) window has been resolved. A delete confirmation message appeared, but the images remained visible after the deletion completed.

The image deletion process has been fixed to ensure images are removed correctly from the 'Manage Image' window.

Query Sheet

Fixed

Resolved CSV Download Failures for Complex Queries

In the Query Sheet, an issue in which downloads of results from complex queries failed with a download error has been resolved. Query results were displayed correctly on the screen, but exporting them to a CSV file resulted in an error stating the download could not be completed.

The download process has been updated to handle complex query results and ensure successful CSV export.

Advanced Jobs

New & Improved

Case-Insensitive Object Name Handling in Metadata Copy

In Advanced Job | Copy Metadata Between Connectors/Schemas, the metadata copy process treated object names as case-sensitive. Because of this, objects with the same name but different letter casing, such as 'Customer' and 'customer,' were treated as distinct objects, leading to metadata copy issues.

With this improvement, the metadata copy process now ignores letter casing when matching object names between connectors and schemas. Objects with the same name are treated as identical regardless of uppercase or lowercase characters.

Connectors

Fixed

Fixed Profiling Status Updates for Zero-Record Tables

In Salesforce, an issue where tables with zero records showed inconsistent profiling results has been resolved. Some tables displayed the profiling status as Failed, while others showed Success under the same conditions. In some cases, the last profile date was also not updated after profiling completed.

The profiling process has been corrected to ensure consistent status updates and accurate profiling information for tables with zero records.

Known Issues

Data Stories

Rearranged Stories and Story Zones may not retain the updated order after refreshing the screen. Changes made to the arrangement are not saved correctly in some scenarios, causing the display order to revert or appear inconsistent after refresh.
