## Data Products

### New & Improved

**Enhancements to Explore Page UI, Layout, and Filtering Capabilities**

In the Data Products module, the Explore Page is updated to improve layout, navigation, and filtering capabilities.

The following improvements have been implemented:

* Reduced padding and spacing for a more compact layout
* Removed breadcrumb above the search bar
* Updated search bar with curved design and placeholder text “Search”
* Added contextual banner with Home and Explore navigation
* Updated card layout and repositioned data object count
* Improved chip styling with neutral (gray) color
* Added filters: Is Subscribed, Criticality, Sensitivity, and Delivery Access Mode
* Ensured filters are integrated with search.es.active.filters and behave consistently

**Revamped Marketplace for Data Products**

The Marketplace has been redesigned with a softer and more modern look. Rounded elements are used across components such as cards, filters, and search, creating a consistent visual style. The layout uses a light background with minimal borders and fewer visual separations, allowing sections to flow naturally and making the page easier to scan. Icons and subtle color accents help users quickly identify and navigate content.

The Marketplace provides a centralized, user-friendly interface for discovering and accessing Data Products. It includes four sections: Banner navigation, summary metrics, Browse Data Domains, and Discover Data Products.

The top banner lets users switch between the Marketplace and the Explore page.

The summary metrics have been improved, which includes a tooltip that displays each metric's details on hover.

In Browse Data Domains, domains appear as scrollable chips with the domain name and the number of accessible Data Products on hover. Users can scroll, view details on hover, and click a domain to filter results. Long names are shortened with tooltips.

In Discover Data Products, users can scroll through the entire list of Data Products. They can search by name, sort by recency, popularity, or subscriptions, and apply filters such as subscriptions, domains, tags, availability, criticality, sensitivity, and access mode. Selected filters appear as chips and can be cleared easily.

**Data Products Overview Widget on Home Page**

The Home page now includes a Data Products Overview widget that shows a quick summary of Data Products and Data Domains accessible to the logged-in user.

The widget displays key metrics, including the number of available Data Products and Data Domains, the total number of subscriptions, and average ratings. It also highlights featured Data Domains by popularity and popular Data Products based on user access and usage. Users can easily explore top domains, view popular products, and navigate directly to detailed pages from the widget.

This widget is available for both Author and Viewer roles. Administrators can add, remove, and reorder it through Home page settings.

**Refreshed Explore Page with Improved Layout, Search, and Filtering**

The Explore page for Data Products has been redesigned to provide a cleaner, easier browsing experience. The previous layout showed limited information and made filtering less efficient.

The updated page features a clearer layout with a prominent search bar, improved results display, and a dedicated filters panel. Reduced spacing allows more Data Products to be viewed at once. Search now focuses on Data Product names for quicker results.

New filters include Subscription Status, Criticality, Sensitivity, and Delivery Access Mode.

The Tags filter has been redesigned into a single, consolidated section. All tags are displayed in a unified view while preserving their hierarchical relationships. Parent-child structures are clearly represented, providing better context and making it easier for users to navigate and efficiently apply tag-based filters.

### Fixed

**Add objects limit restricted to 10 without configuration**

In the Data Products module, while adding objects to a Data Product, the system restricted the addition to only 10 objects and did not provide any configuration option to increase this limit. The issue has been resolved, and now users can add up to 20 objects, aligning with the standard limit until configuration support is available.

## Business Glossary

### Fixed

**Format Issue on the business description and detailed description**

In the Business Glossary module, while applying formatting such as bullet points in Business Description and Detailed Description fields, the formatting was not retained after saving and the content appeared in a single line. The issue has been resolved and now formatting is displayed correctly after saving.

**Issue with uploading and managing images in description fields**

In the Business Glossary module, while uploading images in Business Description and Detailed Description fields, the images were not saved, and existing images could not be deleted from the Manage Image section. The issue has been resolved and now images can be uploaded, saved, and managed successfully in description fields.

## Service Desk

### Fixed

**Data Product | Edit Dropdown Field Options in Cloned Service Desk Template**

In the Service Desk module, while cloning the Data Product Subscription Request Service Desk template and adding a Dropdown field, the Edit option was not available under Field Properties, and the dropdown options could not be configured. Saving the template also resulted in an invalid configuration error. This blocked the successful template configuration and setup of domain-specific service desk templates. The issue has been resolved, and now the Edit option is available, dropdown options can be configured, and the template saves successfully without configuration errors.

## Data Stories

### Fixed

**Data Stories | Issue - when a hyperlink is attached to the image**

In the Data Stories module, while attaching a hyperlink to an existing image and saving the data story, the image was removed after saving and did not persist. The issue has been resolved, and now images remain intact after adding hyperlinks and saving the data story.

**Data Stories | Issue - Font Size Reverting after Save**

In the Data Stories module, when resizing text and saving the data story, the font size reverted to its original size after reopening the story. The issue has been resolved, and now the font size is retained correctly after saving.

**Data Stories | Merged Table Columns - Adjust or Resize After Save**

In the Data Stories module, after saving a table with merged cells, the merged structure was applied only to the first row, and resizing did not work correctly for the remaining rows. The issue has been resolved, and now merged cells are applied correctly across all rows, and resizing works as expected after saving.

**Data Stories | Overlapping words with Large Text**

In the Data Stories module, when increasing the font size, letters overlapped due to fixed inline styles in pasted content. The issue has been resolved, and the pasted content no longer retains conflicting inline styles, ensuring proper text scaling without overlap.

## Lineage

### Fixed

**ADF Pipelines | Target table for ADF Pipelines**

In the Lineage module, while building lineage for ADF Pipelines, the target table was not retrieved in the association, even though it was present in the JSON, preventing lineage from being built correctly. The issue has been resolved, and now the target table is correctly identified, and lineage is built successfully for ADF Pipelines.
