## AI Settings

Users can run a "Regular Expression" to find the required data pattern of objects associated with a Term. Users must add the required data pattern and can use the AI boost score to boost the smart score when the regex matches.

Regular Expression consists of characters and metacharacters, each with a specific meaning. Some common metacharacters include:

* . (dot): Matches any single character except newline.
* \*: Matches zero or more occurrences of the preceding character.
* +: Matches one or more occurrences of the preceding character.
* ?: Matches zero or one occurrence of the preceding character.
* \[]: Matches any single character within the brackets.
* ^: Matches the beginning of a line.
* $: Matches the end of a line.

## Configure AI recommendation keywords

Users can configure Keywords/Synonyms for the term. This will help with the AI recommendation. The data object matching term name and the synonym/configured keyword would be recommended.

{% hint style="info" %}
Example: The Term name “Customer” is curated in the Business Glossary. Stakeholders can configure AI recommendation Keywords for this term, such as "Client," "Customer\_name," "prospectus," etc., to receive recommendations for data objects matching these keywords.
{% endhint %}

## Clone Term

The Clone Term option allows users to create a new Business Glossary term by duplicating an existing term within the same domain. This feature helps users quickly create similar terms without manually re-entering common metadata. When a term is cloned, key metadata, including Business Description, Detailed Description, Tags, Related Objects, Custom Fields (Curated), Policies, and Classifications, is copied to the new term. However, Category and Subcategory information are intentionally excluded to allow users to classify the new term independently. The cloned term is automatically created in the same domain as the original term and inherits governance roles based on the domain configuration. Additionally, associations and references are not copied, ensuring that the new term starts without unintended relationships. This functionality reduces manual effort, minimizes data entry errors, and helps maintain consistency when creating similar glossary terms.

## Custom fields history

The Custom Fields section allows users to view all the related custom fields (Text, Code, Number, and Date) associated with the Business Glossary Terms. Here, users can also request to change any custom field content.

## Configure Synonyms for Search

Allows users to add and manage keywords that act as synonyms for a glossary term to improve search results. These synonyms help users find the term even when they search using different but related keywords. Users can add new keywords, enable or disable them, and vote or remove existing synonyms.
